Can you tell us about your background and how it has prepared you for your role as CEO at Woosper?
I started my work life at the bottom of the corporate ladder, working in marketing and technical domains. The insights I have gathered from working my way up this proverbial staircase have been invaluable in my journey of becoming an entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer.
My post-graduation education in Business administration, combined with the polished ability to think critically and strategically, has helped me create the perfect digital marketing solutions for our clients and lead a team of skilled professionals in their pursuit of excellence.
Furthermore, my experience of working with the global market and overall brand management allows me to see patterns that can create industry-grade marketing insights that are appreciated by our clients.
Though, I must admit that working under guidance and being an entrepreneur are two distinct experiences. And while my experience has helped me create a team that delivers, I am still learning and, hopefully, will continue to do so for years to come.
What inspired you to start Woosper, and how has the company evolved since its inception?
Woosper was founded with the goal of assisting brands in succeeding and resolving the problems that their customers encounter. We promote the idea of being distinctive and authentic in every manner to sustain for a long since; as we all know, the marketing business is at its top and thriving more than ever, which is a great achievement. After Woosper was launched onto the market, my team and I focused on reinforcing our desire to implement cutting-edge strategies for expanding and developing new businesses.
How do you define success for Woosper, and what steps are you taking to achieve that success?
Our success may be linked to our belief that a full-funnel approach to marketing is the first step in a successful client experience. We've been able to grow quickly because we've prioritized learning about our customers' current needs before providing solutions to meet those demands. The experts in our team are thus liberated from the ongoing pressure to upsell so they can concentrate on doing what they do perfectly and what they love. Whatever your area of expertise, knowing that you are truly assisting others will make you happier.
Can you walk us through your management style and how you lead your team at Woosper?
A CEO, in my opinion, should be proactive and a forward-thinker. I always strive to be an excellent communicator who can interact with all types of people at all levels, both within my own organization and in my clients' organizations. I pay attention to my employees and supervisors, show empathy for their demands, and ultimately possess the same level of motivation as they do to keep the business expanding. That is how I cultivate a work culture where workers feel invested in the company's future.
What are the biggest challenges facing Woosper right now, and how do you plan to overcome them?
2020 adversely impacted almost every aspect of life. The pandemic mainly affected business owners. As a result of the lockdown limitations, numerous brick-and-mortar businesses closed down, either temporarily or permanently. Many others were forced to reorganize and move their companies online. This has increased competition for both new and experienced online marketers. So, we need to learn more about customers, focus on generating quality leads, strategize for a mobile-first approach, effective cash flow management, etc.
What sets Woosper apart from other digital marketing agencies, and how do you maintain a competitive edge in the industry?
My entire team of Woosper works hard every day to ensure that we give our clients superior service using a results-based methodology. However, by working with leading industry professionals in the services we offer, we hope to advance the process. We keep an eye on the sector to identify who is excelling in their area of specialization. Ensuring to stay at the forefront of technology and the dynamic digital environment in which we operate is another area of concentration.
Can you share a success story from a Woosper client that you are particularly proud of, and how did your team achieve that success?
Well, hitherto, we successfully served numerous clients. One such client lacked generating quality leads due to their poor digital presence. Our creative digital marketers did complete keyword research to boost the website's ranking and its online presence. And within just four weeks, the website traffic increased to 200%, which was earlier settled at just 35%. And finally, the website ranked in the top 3 positions for most competitive keywords.
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the digital marketing industry, and how do you incorporate that knowledge into your strategies for Woosper clients?
Given the industry's rapid change, staying up to date about all the changes can indicate the difference between success and failure. To keep up myself with the latest trends and developments in the fiercely competitive industry, I closely follow Google, keep a sharp eye on big brands, follow trending blogs, newsletters, and magazines, follow industry leaders and influencers, etc. And then, we effectively incorporate the latest trends that can drive qualified traffic to our website and engage new visitors.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career in digital marketing, and how can they stand out in a competitive industry?
There are many different facets of digital marketing; the first step is to sort through them all to determine which one is best for you and what you are most passionate about. There are some positions where you could perform all duties, but I believe that specializing in one industry is better. Focusing on a single digital marketing channel is what I'd advise.
Looking ahead, what are your goals for Woosper in the next five years, and how do you plan to achieve them?
In order to foster innovation both internally and externally, build enduring connections with our clients, and show a significant return on investment, we have to make the appropriate hires along the way. Most importantly, we constantly strive to innovate to deliver seamless, futuristic services while staying abreast of the most recent digital marketing and advertising developments.
