Maxon Group uses Novacura Flow to improve the operational efficiency of its warehouse
Challenge
Maxon Group, a global leader in high-precision drive systems, aimed to transition from manual, paper-based warehouse processes to a streamlined digital solution. They sought to improve product visibility, reduce inefficiencies, and enable quicker customization of workflows while upgrading from IFS 7.5 to IFS 10.

They sought to improve product visibility, reduce inefficiencies, and enable quicker customization of workflows while upgrading from IFS 7.5 to IFS 10.
Solution
Novacura implemented Novacura Flow, a low-code platform, to digitize Maxon’s warehouse operations. The solution seamlessly integrated with IFS ERP, enabling real-time product tracking, barcode printing, and streamlined logistics processes.
Maxon replaced cumbersome manual processes in internal logistics transport, label printing, and count reporting with custom mobile applications developed using Novacura Flow. These apps allowed warehouse workers to perform tasks directly from integrated scanners, reducing time and eliminating manual errors.
FUNCTIONALITY
- Product Tracking: Real-time visibility of material locations within the warehouse.
- Barcode Printing: Labels printed directly from scanners, eliminating the need to log into IFS.
- Count Reporting: Digital generation of inventory reports from scanners, removing paper-based inefficiencies.
- Multilingual Support: Simplified updates for apps in both English and German.
- Warehouse Logistics Optimization: Apps for picking, shipping, and configure-to-order manufacturing.
